Powering tomorrow's innovation leaders with Simplexity Thinking

IBA CED embraced the presence of Mr Nausherwan Akram on 25th November, 2017. Mr. Akram is an international management consultant and trainer. Mr. Akram is a managing partner of Basadur Applied Creativity Pakistan. He is a seasoned and qualified management consultant and trainer having a vast experience. Mr. Akram conducted a very stimulating and highly interactive workshop for the 7th batch of Certificate in Entrepreneurship program. The topic of the workshop was "Powering tomorrow's innovation leaders with Simplexity Thinking". The participants were taught how to think more innovatively in finding, defining and solving problems using applied creativity. This methodology, Simplexity Thinking, has been successfully applied with major and small corporations globally and helps leaders and their teams think through, clarify and define any ambiguous or complex situation concretely. Participants benefitted immensely from Mr Akram's professional and business expertise, his anecdotes and his unique stagecraft and enthusiasm. Each participant developed an enhanced understanding of their "preferred" style of creative problem solving and thinking and its implications on their decision making and teamwork. The entire workshop was motivating and thought provoking for the prospective entrepreneurs. The workshop also included individual and group exercises where active participation was made by the students. The workshop ended up with a questions session followed by a a group photograph and the presentation of token of appreciation to Mr. Akram by Mr. Rao Israr Ahmed, Program Manager EDP.
