Delegation from JFF-UGI, HBT, KNOW and World Federation visits IBA Main and City Campus

Saturday, November 27th, 2021, IBA Main Campus Karachi

A delegation from Jaffer Family Foundation- United Global Initiative along with KNOW Foundation (Karachi Needy Orphan Women Foundation), Haydari Benevolent Trust and representative of KPISJ visited Institute of Business administration Karachi, Main and City Campuses on 27th & 28th November 2021.

The delegation included Dr. Hasnain Walji (Ex- President World Federation), Mr. Takki Jaffer (Chairman Jaffer Family Foundation- United Global Initiative), Mr. Sadique Jaffer (Trustee JFF-UGI), Mr. Ali Asad Hemani (General Secretary KNOW), Mr. Ghulam Abbas Badami (Trustee HBT), Mr. Muslim Rawjani (Trustee HBT) and Mr. M. Mustafa Hemani–(Pak Representative World Federation).

The purpose of their visit was to observe, oversee and understand the context and spectrum of the 11th Batch of CIE which is a joint effort of IBA Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and Jaffer Family Foundation- United Global Initiative.

Dr. Hasnain Walji (Ex- President World Federation) and Mr. Sadique Jaffer (Trustee JFF-UGI) also spoke on the occasion and motivated the participants to take maximum benefit from this opportunity and start their small businesses from available resources. They interacted with the students asking them about their academics, extracurricular activities and experience in the program.

Sunday, November 28th, IBA City Campus

A meeting was held with the same delegation and Program Director, IBA CED Karachi, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Shahid Qureshi, Mr. Asghar Azmi (IBA CED), Mr. Rao Israr Ahmed (IBA CED) and Ms. Ambreen Khan. Dr. Shahid along with CED team extended a warm welcome to the delegation.

Both sides held several discussions concerning related projects ahead expand the cooperation areas, upgrade cooperation levels, and establish an all-round strategic partnership to promote the women-based programs to empower them.

Mr. Taki Jaffer expressed his gratitude for the hospitality of IBA CED. He hoped that the upcoming program could be more influential with the joint efforts of the two sides. He praised CED's model of teaching on the innovative strategies, which it implements in the teaching and learning process.

The delegation also visited the IBA CED Incubation Center and saw the facilities provided to entrepreneurs to make thier entrepreneurial dream come true.
