IBA CED organised an Awareness session on “Freelancing and Ecommerce”

On Saturday 22nd October, 2022 IBA CED organized the awareness session on “Freelancing and Ecommerce” in collaboration with PAK-TURK MAARIF International Schools and Colleges Gulistan-e-Johar Boys Campus Karachi.

Mr. Mohammad Talha, Assistant Manager Incubation at IBA CED welcomed and greeted the esteems guests including Mr. Shakeel Ahmed (Principal), Ms. Shaista Mehmood (Vice Principal-Middle Section), Ms. Aisha Faisal (Student Counselling Officer/ Clinical Phychologist), Mr Musab Hikmat Soy (Turkish Teacher), Ms. Asma Khalid (Admin Officer), Ferhat Gonul (Accountant), Mr. Akhtar and around 50 students from PAK-TURK MAARIF.

Mr. Mohammad Talha briefed the participants about the activities and support being provided by IBA Business Incubation Center (IBIC) to the startups. Mr. Azad Ahmed Acting Head IBA CED gave a note of thanks and reiterated the resolve of IBA CED to promote entrepreneurial mindset in Pakistan. Ms. Misbah Amin, Senior Executive IBA CED gave a detailed overview of the upcoming Teens Entrepreneurship Program.

Founders of some successful startup companies of IBA Business Incubation Center were invited as guest speakers. The incubatees Mr. Muhammad Dawood (Co-Founder Avanzarr) talked on Ecommerce platform and scope for students, Mr. Muhammad Mohsin (Founder Advi-Marketing) talked on Digital Marketing and Muhammad Ghayas Uddin (Co-Founder Valeem) talked on Freelancing opportunities and Ed-Tech. Overall incubatees shared their startup journeys and encouraged the students of PAK-TURK MAARIF to develop entrepreneurial qualities and skills while keeping strong focus on the studies.

At the of the session souvenirs were distributed among the teams of Pak Turk Maarif and IBA CED also all the students were given a certificate of participation.
