IBA-CED and Oxfam collaborated through Training Program

13th March 2021: IBA Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) and Oxfam collaborated through training program spanning over four months. Nearly, thirty-five diversified participants from different sectors (IT, designing, energy, medicine, food, cosmetics, Textile, Agribusiness & apparel, e-learning and gender support services attended this training. The core purpose included inculcation of entrepreneurial mindset, encouragement of venture creation, community outreach and engagement, and development of necessary skills & competences of the participants. During the course of training, participants worked on their ventures.

After the training, participants were evaluated on the basis of opportunity creation, problem solving, implementation of sustainable development goals (SDGs), work towards gender equality and women empowerment, etc.

The training concluded with distribution of cash prizes to the best entrepreneurial ventures, which were rated higher accordingly with the the evaluation criteria. The jury members included;

The award distribution ceremony was well organized with an inclusion of a tea break and lunch.
