OVERVIEW
Each November, over 10 million people from 200 countries participate in more than 40,000 activities, competitions, and events that inspire action, share knowledge, and create connections to fuel entrepreneurial success. Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) is a global movement that empowers individuals to explore opportunities, build skills, and gain access to resources, all while connecting with a worldwide network of entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and educators.
GEW 2024 will take place from November 20th to 23rd, and the Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED) at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) is proud to be a part of this global celebration. As we bring together visionaries, thought leaders, and aspiring entrepreneurs.
IBA-CED is committed to fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Pakistan. We aim to engage not only major cities but also smaller, often underrepresented communities, helping individuals access the tools, networks, and capital necessary to turn their ideas into impactful ventures.
Our national campaign will feature events and activities tailored to the unique needs of local entrepreneurs, with a special focus on empowering those in emerging economies and marginalized areas. This year, through our visionary partners and stakeholders, we pledge to make GEW 2024 an opportunity for everyone to explore entrepreneurship and contribute to a sustainable, innovation-driven future.
EVENT ITINERARY
I-BAZAAR 2024
I-BAZAAR returns this year as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) 2024, hosted by IBA's Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED). This highly anticipated event provides a platform for IBA students, alumni, and incubates to showcase their businesses, sell products and services, and connect with potential investors.
Participants will have the chance to present their innovative ideas, receive valuable feedback from peers and faculty, and network with the entrepreneurial community.
Join us on November 21st 2024 at the IBA Main Campus to be part of this exciting event. Participation is paid, and open to all IBA students looking to advance their entrepreneurial ventures.
IBA CED INVENT 2024
The INVENT is the pioneer startup competition in Pakistan that roots back to 2009, when its maiden voyage was started by the IBA Center for Entrepreneurial Development (CED). Since then, INVENT is synonymous to an ecosystem that connects the dreamers, innovators and entrepreneurs with a network of investors, corporations, and mentors to help them showcase their ideas to the world, raise capital, launch corporate collaborations, and scale their world-changing startups.
As in the previous years, drawing from the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), INVENT 2024 will be offering a massive opportunity to the existing startups throughout Pakistan. The INVENT 2024 will be fostering innovation, recognizing groundbreaking ideas, and promoting entrepreneurial excellence within the entrepreneurial ecosystem of Pakistan.

Connect, Inspire, Thrive – Join Us for the Entrepreneurs Connect Event!
This event is designed to bring together aspiring and established entrepreneurs, industry leaders, investors, and policymakers to create a collaborative environment that promotes innovation, networking, and knowledge sharing.
Key highlights of the event include panel discussions, a Fireside Chat with a renowned entrepreneur, and the official launch of the IBA CED VC Club. The objective is to address the unique entrepreneurial challenges and opportunities in Pakistan, while showcasing the journeys of successful entrepreneurs and exploring strategies for business scaling.
With keynote speeches, panel discussions, fireside chats, and dedicated networking sessions, participants will gain valuable insights and practical advice tailored for entrepreneurs at various stages of their business journey.
