In partnership with the New York–based Beba Foundation and August Leadership, IBA Karachi’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Development (IBA-CED) will host the Greater Good Challenge (GGC) in Pakistan for the first time on November 20.

Alligned with IBA-CED’s core values, August Leadership’s purpose is to empower leaders and initiatives, like the Greater Good Challenge, that drive lasting positive change.
For over a decade, Invent has been IBA’s signature business plan competition, helping young innovators turn their ideas into thriving enterprises at Pakistan’s leading business school.
In 2025, Invent will take on a new dimension as it becomes part of the Greater Good Challenge.
Founded in 2020 by the Beba Foundation in collaboration with the Columbia University School of Professional Studies, The Greater Good Challenge is an international entrepreneurship competition designed to help young innovators turn purpose-led ideas into real-world ventures.
The GGC invites participants from Pakistan to join teams and submit their business ideas featuring new products, technology, or services that will positively impact people and the environment while creating or scaling up sustainable businesses. We welcome students and alumni from across Pakistan to pitch innovative business solutions addressing current global and societal needs.

PRIZE & ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
The competition welcomes students and alumni from any univeristy in Pakistan. We strongly encourage diversity in both background and gender.
Teams can consist of a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 individuals. The competition restricts the number of presenters to 2 students or alumni per team. Up to 10 teams will be selected and will move ahead to the next phase.

The judges will spend one week on evaluating the finalists' presentations.
