25 February, 2025: Entrepreneur Salman Parekh, founder of Wear Manto, took the stage at IBA Main Campus for I Inspire: Raw and Unplugged, on February 25, offering an unfiltered look into his journey of building a brand from the ground up.
During his talk, Parekh reflected on his unconventional path, admitting that he was never the top student in school. However, that did not deter him from forging his own way in business. Acknowledging that nearly 80% of businesses fail, he emphasized that success is not about avoiding failure but about learning from it and persevering.
He spoke about the challenges of launching and sustaining a startup—navigating financial risks, managing uncertainty, and staying committed to a vision despite setbacks. His story underscored the importance of resilience, passion, and risk-taking in entrepreneurship.
“For aspiring entrepreneurs, the key takeaway is simple: bet on yourself and take the leap,” Parekh stated.
The event, part of IBA’s ongoing efforts to inspire young entrepreneurs, left the audience with a compelling message—success belongs to those willing to embrace challenges and push forward against the odds.
