22nd November 2024: ‘Dream big, work hard and amazing things will happen’
The Shark Tank Pakistan show came to the Institute of Business Administration’s Centre for Entrepreneurial Development (IBA-CED) for an interactive session with students to broaden their entrepreneurial horizon with an overwhelming response.
Dr Lalarukh Ejaz, the IBA-CED director, kicked off the event by paying rich tribute to one of Pakistan’s most viewed shows, adding that,” this is a great opportunity for students to develop a robust understanding of the entrepreneurial mindset from the guests”.
Shark Tank Executive Producer Muhammad Rizwan Siddiqui, Rabeel Warraich, the founder of Pakistan’s first Venture Capital fund Sarmayacar and a Shark along with Karim Teli, a producer and shark on the show were the guests for the session packed with IBA students.
Rabeel Warraich said that IBA-CED is a haven for entrepreneurs across Pakistan, adding that, “the pulse of the future of Pakistan is firmly at the IBA.”
He added that the idea behind the Shark Tank Pakistan is to highlight the unique creativity and innovation of the youth of Pakistan.
“If you can dream big, work hard amazing thing will happen I assure you,” he reaffirmed to the young audience.
All of the representatives from Shark Tank Pakistan underscored the need for investors to take a chance on young start up founders.
